Local Priorities Burglary - Other (Shed / Garage Break-ins) Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Burglary - Other (Shed / Garage Break-ins), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

At 8:50pm, on Monday 2nd November, Police were called to an address in the Corscombe area, following males being seen on CCTV, breaking into a barn. Fortunately, nothing had been stolen. At 9:04 pm, Whilst Police are at scene, a further call comes in from the Mosterton area, that some males have just run off from an address. On arrival, CCTV is checked and two males can be seen cutting locks to a barn. It is thought only a battery from the alarm system was taken at this time.

A Peugeot was left at scene and has been seized by Police for forensic testing.

If anyone has any information that may assist Police, perhaps CCTV/doorbell cameras that cover the roads around that time, please review them and call Dorset Police on 101, or do an online report using the reference numbers 55260171959 and 55260171970 respecitvely.

Many thanks and stay safe.
